Why ACHIEVE CCS? Empowering Young Women at the Intersection of Creativity and Technology

In a world where the future of work is increasingly shaped by technology and artificial intelligence, a concerning trend has emerged: women are underrepresented in AI-driven innovation — and it could cost them.
A recent article from Harvard Business School (“Women Are Avoiding Artificial Intelligence. Can That Hurt Their Careers?”) reveals that women are less likely to engage with AI tools and technologies, not because of lack of talent, but often due to low confidence, limited access to training, and gendered perceptions of tech fields.
At ACHIEVE CCS this is exactly the challenge we aim to confront.
🎯 Why ACHIEVE CCS exists
Young women in the Cultural and Creative Sector (CCS) are brimming with potential — as artists, designers, curators, storytellers, and digital creators. But in an era where digital skills and AI are redefining creative industries, they risk being left behind unless given the right tools, support, and confidence.
👉 Our research across France, Ireland, Ukraine, Greece, and Turkey found the same pattern:
- Many young women feel underprepared to use digital tools
- There is a strong demand for training in social media, project management, e-commerce, and AI-powered platforms
- Youth workers and mentors are key to building confidence and community
💡 Our response
ACHIEVE CCS was created to bridge this gap. Through:
- A research-based approach to understand the real needs of young women
- A flexible, accessible training Academy offering digital, business, and creative skills
- A Virtual Exhibition & Multi-space Platform where women can create and collaborate using digital tools
- Mentorship by youth workers, ensuring no one is left behind
🎨 We are not just training artists. We are cultivating digitally confident, economically empowered, and creatively bold women who can shape the future of CCS — with technology as an ally, not a barrier.
